Grand and Toy — Make Work Work, Everywhere

Overview

After COVID, work was no longer tied to a desk. People were working from kitchens, coffee shops, and backyards. Grand & Toy wanted to show it could help small businesses and entrepreneurs succeed anywhere.

Together with Forsman & Bodenfors, we brought that story to life with "Make Work, Work Everywhere." A campaign built around a mobile workspace on wheels, plus bold social and out-of-home storytelling.

Challenge

For years, many Canadians thought Grand & Toy had disappeared with the malls. The challenge was: how do we remind people the brand is still here — and more relevant than ever in the new world of flexible work?

Strategy

We worked with Forsman & Bodenfors to launch a mobile office truck that toured the GTA. The glass-walled truck showcased a modern workspace, while local entrepreneurs stepped inside to show how Grand & Toy's tools made it easy to work anywhere.

To extend the reach:

"Spot the Truck" contest encouraged people to post photos for a chance to win prizes like iPads.

OOH & transit ads ran across Toronto and Vaughan, reinforcing the message.

Social media development captured the excitement in real time, sharing content that linked the brand to modern, flexible work.

Results

Renewed awareness: Canadians reconnected with Grand & Toy as a modern B2B partner.

Post-COVID relevance: The campaign tapped into the new mindset of working anywhere.

High engagement: The truck, contest, and social content drove participation and buzz both online and offline.
